Avventura ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our iOS application.

We collect information you provide directly when using Avventura:
- Account Information: Email address and name when you create an account
- Trip Data: Trip details, itineraries, activities, expenses, notes, and documents you create
- Photos: Images you upload for trips and activities
- Preferences: App settings like preferred currency, distance units, and theme
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the Avventura service
- Sync your data across your devices
- Process your subscription if you upgrade to Pro
- Send important service updates (not marketing)
- Improve and develop new features
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud infrastructure provider. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
- Secure authentication with Sign in with Apple support
- Row-level security policies on all database tables
- Secure file storage with access controls
Third-Party Services
Avventura uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Cloud database and authentication
- Google Places API: Location search and place information
- Apple StoreKit: Subscription management
- Vercel Analytics: Anonymous website analytics (landing page only)
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete data within the app, it is soft-deleted and permanently removed after 30 days. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently deleted.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: View all data associated with your account
- Export: Download your trip data
- Delete: Delete your account and all associated data
- Correct: Update any inaccurate information

Children's Privacy
Avventura is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.
